Hana Akram - Abstract Artist

Dubai based creative Hana Akram creates abstract paintings that seek balance between simplicity, purpose and beauty.

Hana Akram is a Kurdish abstract artist (and designer) who depicts a range of emotions with acrylics on large canvases. The artist often blends multiple perspectives and scales; while emphasizing on surface, texture and the effects of color and light.

Akram is currently based in Dubai where she works as a full time artist. She has a background in interior design and has worked on multiple retail and f&b projects in parallel. As she constantly continues to develop both her practices, she also teaches art at Thejamjar.
